Founding SDR - Mid-Market/Enterprise
⚠️ We’re looking for someone with a near-native level of French (C2 level) AND fluent in English (C1 level). If it’s not your case, please don’t apply, as it is a hard requirement (there will be other roles that may be a fit for you in the future!).
✨ The most exciting parts
- High ownership, high impact 🚀 As our first SDR fully dedicated to the Mid-Market and Enterprise segment (250-5k+ employees), you’ll do the 0 to 1, and will have high ownership and impact on Figures’ success.
- You’ll build on a solid basis 🔥 While we have mostly been focused on SMBs so far, we have proof that selling our product to the Mid-Market and Enterprise segment can work and we get regular inbound leads from such companies. We have a great brand, strong traction and already exciting logos (you’ll be able to leverage a good amount of Marketing Qualified Leads). With the new EU Pay Transparency Directive coming into effect, companies with thousands of employees have to rethink how they approach compensation. Figures is uniquely placed to capitalise on the opportunity.
- Huge opportunity to learn and grow 🌱 You’ll be working very closely with the senior leadership of Figures and will be able to learn and develop super fast. Our company's early stage offers lots of responsibilities and opportunities to evolve as we grow.
- Collective (positive) impact 🙌 We strongly believe in the social impact of Figures - creating transparency & fairness around compensation and reducing market inequalities like the gender pay gap (check out this Sifted article, powered by Figures).
- Great teammates & work environment 🙏🏽 We take our “Why so serious?” value seriously, offer a ton of flexibility, and work a 9-day-fortnight.
- Taking risks means high rewards 🤑 Your equity grant will have a big potential financial upside.
🔮 About us - Easy collaboration for fair compensation decisions
Created in October 2020 by Virgile & Bastien, Figures is Europe's leading compensation management platform, helping companies to make fair and efficient salary decisions.
We do that by providing them with reliable up-to-date (real-time) compensation data and the right tooling to manage their compensation process and get rid of spreadsheets.
As of today, we are a team of around 30 people, helping 800 companies all over Europe (with France, the UK and Germany being our core markets). We raised €6.8m in September 2022 to accelerate our expansion.
Our goal is now two-fold:
- Cement our position as the main European compensation platform.
- Continue to expand our product to compensation management as a whole - We’ve just launched our new Compensation Review module, learn more about it here 🙌
Here is a short video about our mission & product 👇
🛠️ Your role
You’ll be our first SDR fully dedicated to the Mid-Market and Enterprise segment. Your main mission will be to generate a pipeline for this segment, mostly in France. That said, you will also work a bit on generating pipelines in other markets and for the SMB segment - we want and need someone flexible.
Concretely, you’ll:
- Execute outbound into mid-market/enterprise accounts (250-5,000+ employees) - for example targeting the top 500 accounts in France.
- Capture inbound.
- Do account research, multi-threading into different personas.
- After some months - Run qualification calls and book discovery calls for the Account Executives.
🧩 What we look for
- Junior to Senior level - You can be:
- A seasoned SDR in B2B SaaS.
- Someone junior in Sales but with previous professional experience (e.g. you’ve done a sales training at iconoClass, Rocket School or Akimbo).
- Someone looking for their first job with at least a first 6-month internship in Sales/prospection.
-
Startup experience: from Seed to Series B - Self-starter/desire to deal with an unstructured environment (with a lot to build); used to a fast-moving and fast-changing environment.
- A strong desire to learn and grow.
- Excellent communication and near-native level of French (C2 level). Fluent in English (C1 level).
- Alignment with our values: you have a strong sense of ownership, you are pragmatic & you are at ease to give and receive feedback (while not taking yourself too seriously!).
- You are based in France, the UK or Germany (or willing to relocate).
- You are comfortable working remotely.
